Maximillion "Maxi" Hawkeye CANION (They/Them) is a Non-binary Queer Black & Latinx solo movement artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Maxi is a freelance dancer and has been pursuing a call to heal others and a desire to provide aid through bodywork to people in the Black Community as well as Black Queer/Trans/Non-Binary artists, organizers and activists.
Full Bio (if desired): Maximillion "Maxi" Hawkeye Canion (They/Them) is a Non-binary Queer Black & Latinx solo movement artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Desert raised & originally from El Paso, TX, they graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). As a freelancer, they have worked with Sidra Bell, UNA Productions, slowdanger, Annie Rigney, Kayla Farrish, BIRDHOUSE, Lior Lazarof & Fernando Melo. They attended Springboard Danse Montreal In 2019. They are also a certified Dance Church instructor and Reiki I practitioner.
Maxi has been pursuing a call to heal others and a desire to provide aid through bodywork to people in the Black Community as well as Black Queer/Trans/Non-Binary artists, organizers and activists.
They are currently pursuing a degree in Massage Therapy, a Kane school Pilates Certification, and a Reiki II Certification under the RISING method which centers on healing within the DAEUS community.
