Benjamin Kamino

Benjamin Kamino is a dancer whose work has been presented across Canada and abroad. He often collaborates with other artists, most recently with Daina Ashbee and Mohammedreza Akrami. As a dancer, he has been fortunate to work under the direction of many choreographers and would like to note here his work for Michael Trent, Ame Henderson, Marie Chouinard, Jennifer Mascall, and Peggy Baker as those artists who continue to hold a strong influence on his practice. Kamino was curator at Dancemakers in Toronto alongside colleague Emi Forster in 2015 and is currently an MA candidate at DAS Choreography.
