Amy Miller

Amy Miller is a NYC-based dancer, educator, administrator and advocate. Formerly with the Ohio Ballet, she was also a founding member and artistic associate of Cleveland-based GroundWorks DanceTheater. Now a Director and a performing member of Gibney Company in NYC, Miller also focuses on Gibney’s Community Action initiatives through facilitating movement workshops with survivors of gender-based violence, conducting both local and international trainings for artists interested in engaging in social action, facilitating healthy relationship workshops for young people to raise awareness about the role of the arts in violence prevention. Miller is driven by translating the inherent equity necessary for moving together in the dance studio in ways that inspire us all to move forward in our daily lives.
